‘nother Haiku

all at sea

NaPoWriMo Day 17. The photo, which was described as being loosely based on the idea of the ocean, is a NaPoWriMo prompt.

Please visit this list of my poet friends who are also doing the poem-a-day challenge. They are worth the look. I’m inspired by them daily. Contact me if you want to be added to the list.

  1. Hello Sweepy.
I’ve been feeling all at see myself lately, but I know it’s a mood that will pass.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I’m curious to know if the picture inspired the words or you found a picture to match the words ….Really clever, Adrienne.

    • Thanks for the compliment, Corinne! The picture inspired the words. I’ve been using the NaPoWriMo prompts all month. I used to be afraid of prompts but I learned that I can still use them without losing myself in them, if that makes any sense.

  3. Nice freeform haiku. Says it all

  10. Adriene…I love this photo and the simplicity of the words…it truly depicts the photo…even the moment would be one of quiet and just sitting in the silence…watching the beginning of a new day…Well done…your words say it all….

  11. Sunrisen Fisherman…Loved the expression Adrienne
