1 + 1: Business Trip Edition

When you leave home for more than a day or two, what do you bring with you?

The first thing I pack are underpants–panties, if you will: Two pair for each day I’ll be away, plus an extra two or three pair just in case.

Welcome to 1 + 1  Wednesday!

After the underwear and besides the other clothes, much angst is expended on making sure I have my chronic medications, deodorant, perfume, lotions, and hair care products. I take all unnecessary store cards out of my wallet but make sure I at least have my health insurance card, knock on wood. I bring my car key–even if I’m not  using my car.

When I stay in a hotel, I put only a few things in drawers and rarely hang clothes in the closet. I mostly live out of my suitcase.

Not for nothing …
