Poetry and personal blog – Spilling my guts to strangers

1 + 1 Wednesday (#14)

I believe in absolutes: night/day, right/wrong, never/always, up/down, true/false. But I also believe in that which resides in the middle.

Welcome to 1 + 1 Wednesday.

If everything has an opposite, then it follows that some things don’t have an opposite. Some things stand alone.

Consider snowflakes. If you put one snowflake next to another, you would say that they were both the same object: Both of them are snowflakes. Yet everyone knows that no two snowflakes are alike. They’re the same and they’re different. How can that be?

Likewise, if everything has a reason, is it also true that nothing means anything?

I invite you to go to the comments section and share two words on any theme whatsoever. The thought can be simple, complex, original, familiar, or completely random. You can be creative, experimental, clever, or silly. You can vent, say something important, or make no sense.

It doesn’t matter. Just say what you want. There’s no judgment on 1 + 1 Wednesday.

No restriction on language except for this: No slurs against race/ethnicity or sexual orientation. Such comments will not be approved or will be deleted as soon as I’m able.
