it centers around my jugular vein
and the blood that runs through that space
and that which is closer to me than it
and knows my heart better than i
it involves those who live in my heart
and for whom my blood is everything
for whom my blood is not enough
my sustainers intercessors visionaries
redeemers of the unconditional
in perpetuity

I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to all who have visited here this month, and all who have “liked,” shared, and commented. It has meant a lot to me. A special thanks to the poets on this list who also participated in NaPoWriMo for their inspirational work, encouragement, and support.

Thanks you, Cathy! Thanks for visiting throughout the month; ’twas very encouraging! xox
We can never get close enough to those that our world is centered around. It always seems we need more .. we need to get even closer…. or we are over taken by someone being so close, it feels like they are sucking the life of us, draining us bloodless like a hungry vampire.
Another great poem !!
I am stopping by via our group Blognostics 2.0.
Thanks so much for always dropping in from time to time to say hello on my blog!! (Scattered Musings of A Creative Mind) I appreciate and <3 you for your continued support!!
